How much of a factor is looking good in practice?

Well it could be that the tone and pace of the practices has changed. Plus from reding the post it sounds like the new coach has intrust up and more numbers out (which helps)
before the seson I said i thought that the new coach would shake up the CMD this season
With the resorces they have and the talet pool that's there, there's not excuse for them being as bad as they have been for the last 20+ years.

Well Would agree with the +20 yrs of teams, but something just seems a little different this year. Don't be surprised if you see a team that is a lot better. In my opinion we might be looking at the new powerhouse in SWVA. But of course time will tell!
All they need is someone who knows what they're doing and someone who can get the kids motivated to play. If they can do that they can be competitive again.
